Die Burgruine Weißenstein liegt auf 864 m ü.N.N. in Bayerns kleinstem Naturpark, dem Steinwald.
Vom Bergfried der Ruine aus bietet sich ein herrlicher Rundblick über den Oberpfälzer Wald. Bei der Burgruine handelt es sich um eine Höhenburg in Spornlage

Um den Turm zu besteigen sollte man körperlich fit sein, es ist nämlich sehr anstrengend
Aber wenn selbst ich dickerchen das geschafft habe dann schafft ihr das hoffentlich auch
