This is what you can expect when you visit the Waldwipfelweg Weihnachtsmarkt, aka The Forest Treetop Path Christmas Market in Bavaria Germany!
This has gotta be the most interactive German Xmas market I’ve ever been to, and it’s open late in the winter season!
The first thing you’ll notice is the upside house, which is a €2 fee as you’re exiting the park. There’s also a fee to get into the park which is open all year long.
Why don’t we start with a hot gluhwein, there’s many to choose from, and then follow the path to the tower.
You can be an ordinary human and walk up, or you can Spider-man your way to the top. When you finally get to the top, take in these incredible views and then slide down into one of the many fun activities…

– Playgrounds
– Learn about various animals
– Cave of illusions
– Path of optimal phenomenon
– Ball house
Underneath the restaurant you’ll find stalls of crafts and local foods, I recommend the goulash soup and the “Kräppelchen” with nutella, cinnamon and sugar
Finish your day at the upside house, and then take a seat to reflect on how awesome this place is!
